Picture Shop proudly partnered with Women in Film for their 2022 Shorts Lab. The WIF Shorts Lab supported by Google provided three emerging filmmaking teams with grants of $30,000 and the support needed to produce a short film. Fellows in the program were given practical support, mentorship, and guidance throughout the prep, production, and post phases of their project.Picture Shop Senior Colorist Maxine Gervais held a color q&a with the filmmakers, helping to guide them through the post-production process and handled the color on two of the shorts. Colorist Jeff Pantaleo provided color on one of the shorts.“I absolutely loved working with the filmmakers. The shorts were beautiful and well shot. I’m very excited to see what’s ahead for these women,” says Gervais.Congratulations to the filmmakers on their incredible work.
