WHAT WE DO
Sound
We love sound! We love to use our creative and technical expertise to make film, television and streaming shows sound rich, interesting and a pleasure for audiences in all realms to enjoy. Our award-winning re-recording mixers, supervisors, designers, and editors take great pride in the quality of their work from the clarity and fullness of production dialogue and ADR to sound design and creative soundscapes, both natural and heightened.

Before joining Picture Shop, Pines led color science at Technicolor after more than 10 years at ILM, where he supervised film scanning/recording and worked with traditional and digital technologies.
He has worked with the world’s most visionary filmmakers and on some of the biggest productions, including Jurassic Park, The Aviator, Gravity, The Revenant, Birdman, among others.
Pines has received two technical achievement awards from AMPAS and the Natalie and Herbert T. Kalmus Medal from SMPTE.
He has always thought that computers could be a useful tool in making movies better, and he still hopes that one day this may come true.

Kutcka has over 30 year's experience across EFILM, Technicolor, and now Picture Shop.
His expertise in designing, vetting, implementing, and supporting sophisticated production workflows is unparalleled.
