WHAT WE DO
Color Science
Picture Shop’s industry-leading, award-winning color science department will help your production navigate the technical process from start to finish.
We regularly work with top camera manufacturers and participate in industry technical organizations to ensure we’re leading on the cutting-edge - such as our contributions to the Academy Color Encoding System (ACES) technical committees, which strive to be the standard for managing color throughout the life cycle of a film or television production.

Pines has received two technical achievement awards from AMPAS and the Natalie and Herbert T. Kalmus Medal from SMPTE.
He has always thought that computers could be a useful tool in making movies better, and he still hopes that one day this may come true.
