





If the dialogue is unclear in a Film or TV show, the viewer might decide to tune out or even worse, turn off. With each new project there are new sets of challenges to overcome to make the story clear to the audience. In my work as a dialogue editor, I enjoy finding creative ways to solve them. I often think of my work like a puzzle and my days are full of “aha” moments as I’m able to put the pieces together.” Claire grew up singing in choirs, playing piano, watching classic films and listening to Radiohead albums on repeat. In 2010 she enrolled in the Humber College Post Production Graduate program intent on becoming a film editor. It was there that she gravitated to sound editing, graduating with an honors degree in Audio Post. In 2012 she joined the Formosa Toronto team on the first season of “Vikings” which went on to have 6 seasons and 93 episodes. Claire has since garnered numerous awards and nominations for her work as a sound editor specializing in Dialogue Editing.
