





Lou has collaborated with numerous acclaimed creators, including Fernando Meirelles, Deepa Mehta, Sarah Polley, and David Cronenberg. His experience spans international co-productions like Blindness in Brazil, Mr. Nobody in France, and Sharp Corner in Ireland. Recent credits include Sarah Polley’s Oscar-nominated film Women Talking and Nisha Pahuja’s Oscar-nominated documentary To Kill a Tiger. Passionate about music documentaries, Lou has worked on films featuring ZZ Top, Iron Maiden, Rush, Alice Cooper, The Tragically Hip, as well as classical composers like Bach, Ravel, and Beethoven, and most recently, Jackie Shane. With over fifty sound award nominations, Lou has earned prestigious accolades including a BAFTA, a Cinema Audio Society Award, an Emmy, and numerous Canadian Screen Awards. He was also recognized with multiple Cinema Audio Society and Emmy nominations for his work on The Handmaid's Tale.
