





A native of United Kingdom, Martin Gwynn Jones completed a music degree at Cambridge University, before working as a composer and sound designer for video games in London. Immediately after moving to Canada, he was fortunate enough to meet Jane Tattersall and began his career in post-production sound. As a dialogue, ADR, and foley editor, Martin worked on award-winning shows such as The Tudors, The Borgias, and The Book of Negroes. From 2021-25, Martin was supervising sound editor on Amazon Prime's The Summer I Turned Pretty and dialogue supervisor on CBC's Sort Of. In 2023 he was supervising dialogue editor on Sean Durkin's brilliant wrestling drama The Iron Claw (A24). Most recently, he has been dialogue supervisor on season one of Law & Order Toronto: Criminal Intent (CTV), and Wayward (Netflix). Martin has received numerous nominations for MPSE Golden Reel awards, Canadian Screen awards, DGC awards, as well as an Emmy. In 2016, he was the proud recipient of three CSA’s for his work in all three sound categories of documentary, TV, and film.
