





With over 30 years’ experience as an award-winning Sound Designer and Supervising Sound Editor, Paul has brought his talents and enthusiasm to acclaimed scripted and documentary projects in almost every genre. He’s collaborated with some of the medium’s most successful producers and directors, including Guillermo Del Toro, David Cronenberg, John Woo, Panos Cosmatos, Jennifer Kent, Vincenzo Natali, Deepa Mehta, and Sarah Polley. Paul was nominated for an Emmy for his work on Guillermo Del Toro’s “Cabinet of Curiosities", recently completed sound design on A24's wrestling feature "The Iron Claw", and supervised sound for Fox's hit TV series "Accused" from show runner Howard Gordon (24, Homeland). Paul won Canadian Screen Awards for Best Sound Editing two years running for the features "Scarborough" and "Brother" (both CSA Best Picture winners themselves), and he’s a two-time MPSE Golden Reel nominee for the TV series “Foundation” and “Saving Hope”. His love of music has informed his work on documentaries including ZZ Top: The L’il Ol’ Band From Texas, Iron Maiden: Flight 666, docu-series Hip Hop Evolution, and music videos by recording artist Drake.
