Biography

Re-recording Mixer Scott Shepherd grew up loving music and playing the guitar, even building his own guitar as a teenager. He went on to study media arts at Sheridan College, sparking an interest in production sound that has stayed with him throughout his 25-year career. Scott began working as a machine room operator / mix assistant at Pathe and worked his way through the ranks to become a re-recording mixer at Film House. Over the years, Scott has cultivated his expertise, becoming a seasoned professional in the industry. His calm and steady demeanor is a welcome addition to any sound team, where collaboration with his clients takes center stage to bring the director’s vision to life.
