





Steve Medeiros, an accomplished Sound Editor based at Formosa Group Toronto, has garnered recognition for his contributions to the industry since his entry in 2006. His extensive portfolio spans from early involvement in projects like Silent Hill to the intricacies of designing and editing epic battle scenes in the popular TV series, Vikings. Steve's work has earned him multiple accolades, including Canadian Screen Awards, Directors Guild of Canada awards for Best Sound, and numerous nominations for Primetime Emmy and Golden Reel Awards. A true audiophile, Steve is passionate about all aspects of sound, including music. He began his career as a DJ in the 1990's and quickly went on to own a successful small business providing sound engineering for live concerts and corporate events. With his dual background in music and sound editing, Steve brings a keen ear and unique perspective to the projects he works on. Steve holds a degree from the esteemed Music Industry Arts program at Fanshawe College. When he's not at work, he can be found playing percussion instruments or adding to his vinyl collection, which he's been proudly cultivating for 30 years.
