Picture Shop announced that accomplished Colorist Aurora Shannon has joined its global roster of artists. Based in Vancouver, Shannon brings more than two decades of her experience grading feature films, episodic television, and visual effects projects.

Shannon's arrival expands the colorist roster across Picture Shop's Canadian facilities, joining Senior Colorist Claudio Sepulveda and Colorist Scott McKenzie in Vancouver and Senior Colorists Paul Allia, Mark Kueper, Brett Trider, Marc Bachli and Mike Dobroski in Toronto. Together with Picture Shop's teams in Los Angeles and New York, the team provides productions with full-service finishing depth across episodic, feature, and VFX-driven work.
A native of London, England, Shannon began her career at Soho Film Lab before joining Company 3 and later DNEG, where she served as Senior VFX Colorist and Grading Supervisor across multiple international studios. Her foundation in photochemical color timing continues to inform her approach to modern digital grading, allowing her to bring both technical precision and artistic sensitivity to every project. Her recent work includes Under the Bridge, My Big Fat Greek Wedding 3, Valiant One, Tenants of Carver Hill, and Dark Shadows.
